We are looking for a Visualization Leader to join the MX office Design Technology Team. This is a great opportunity for a visualization expert who is interested in working in a highly collaborative and creative environment.

As a Visualization Leader, you are the technology heartbeat of the project(s) you are on. A critical multifaceted role that provides technical leadership, strategic value and deep tactical expertise in the design technology and digital project delivery space enabling the team(s) you support and aligning with project and client priorities / requirements.

Reporting directly to the Regional Design Technology Director, you will use your soft skills, relationship building and technical expertise to drive with confidence process innovation, optimization and digital workflows / platforms creation and implementation in partnership with your fellow project members and in collaboration with the Regional Design Technology Team. Ultimately, we believe that this role is a key contributor to delivering the highest value and best outcomes to our clients.

Translating what a Designer is trying to communicate to the client within 3D, or 2D, illustrations. These illustrations can range from conceptual art to photo-realistic quality and are a key driver to tell a story through Gensler’s design. The artist needs to be able to communicate well, as they will be working with multiple teams within the New York Office. The artist’s ability to produce quality work within the given time frame will be key as well as the flexibility to meet changing priorities.

**What You Will Do**:

- Coordinate with Design Directors and Project Management on visualization deliverables and help manage the project process from concept through realization
- Create a variety of high quality exterior and interior architectural 3D models and renderings/360/animations/immersive environments
- Rapidly construct accurate high quality, realistic 3D renderings
- Research and develop immersive environments through Virtual and Augmented Reality content and apps
- Lead the strategy and implementation for visual excellence, visualization workflow design technology solutions applied on projects
- Educate design teams on best practices, methods, and new technologies
- Integrate visual thinking as part of our design teams story-telling
- Establish cross platforms integration and interoperability from concept to delivery: Digital Fluency
- Partner with regional leadership to develop strategy for visual communication and engagement
- Author / Develop custom visual design solutions for project teams during any required phase of the design process.
- Identify, resolve and coach project team members on Model(s) Performances
- Establish, communicate, and interpret changes in best practices and protocols
- Align Design Technology strategy / priorities of each project with client / project specific needs
- Develop and Implement multi-authoring platform solutions to support project needs
- Partner and collaborate with all DT peers at the studio, office, region and firm levels
- Represent the project team with all of our partners: design, engineering and construction firms
- Identify workflows, tools, and efficiencies that will bring value-proposition to our projects
- Research innovative solutions and co-create with partners continuously in support of projects

**Your Qualifications**:

- Highly skilled artistically, Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or visual arts equivalent preferred.
- Expert in 3D Studio Max, Vray, and the Adobe Suite; After Effects is a plus
- Experience translating architect's sketches and CAD/Revit documents into realized 3D models and images
- Trained in diverse platforms to work on a variety of project types
- Experience with Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality development in Unity or Unreal preferred.
- Able to research solutions to either artistic, or technical, issues when they arise.
- A good understanding of Light and Color. Along with composition, and basic art principles.
- Articulate communicator, able to convey design technology concepts to all levels of design and delivery leadership.
- Punctual, able to adhere to deadlines, and have a strong self-driven work ethic.
- Creative thinker dedicated to problem solving, research, and innovation.
