**Puesto**: Manufacturing & Automation Engineer
**Objetivo**:
El _Manufacturing & Automation Engineer_ tiene como objetivo identificar oportunidades e implementar mejoras en los procesos de manufactura, reducción de costos y optimización de productos. Utiliza herramientas de Lean Manufacturing y Core Tools para mejorar la eficiencia y efectividad de los procesos. Además, es responsable del diseño, desarrollo y mantenimiento de tecnologías de automatización industrial, garantizando que las operaciones diarias sean seguras y eficientes.
**Responsabilidades**:
- Analizar, diseñar y desarrollar procesos de manufactura óptimos, incluyendo flujos de producción, métodos de ensamblaje, definición de tasas y capacidades del proceso.
- Implementar automatización, ya sea completa o colaborativa, enfocándose en mejorar la seguridad, ergonomía y eficiencia de los procesos.
- Mejorar los procesos existentes mediante la identificación de áreas de oportunidad.
- Coordinar y dar seguimiento a la manufactura de prototipos en los diferentes procesos productivos.
- Proveer soporte técnico especializado relacionado con sus procesos de manufactura.
- Generar la documentación de los procesos conforme a los estándares de APQP.
- Administrar proyectos y coordinar actividades relacionadas con su área.
- Diseñar y desarrollar herramentales y fixtures para manufactura, así como para la validación del producto.
- Contribuir en el desarrollo, aplicación y mantenimiento de los Core Tools (APQP, SPC, PPAP, MSA, FMEA).
- Liderar o participar activamente en la investigación y solución de No-Conformidades mediante la metodología 8D, tanto en problemas internos como externos.
**Requisitos**:
- Título en Ingeniería Mecánica, Mecatrónica, Industrial, o afín.
- Mínimo 3 años de experiência en procesos de manufactura y automatización en la industria metalmecánica y/o automotriz.
- Experiência en programación de robots para aplicaciones de manufactura (soldadura, ensamblaje, formado, manejo de materiales, etc.).
- Conocimiento sólido en tecnologías de automatización y programación de PLC y HMI.
- Lectura de planos y dibujos de piezas.
- Conocimiento básico en diseño mecánico y tolerancias geométricas.
- Conocimiento básico de Core Tools (APQP, SPC, PPAP, MSA, FMEA).
- Manejo de herramientas Lean Manufacturing (VSM, Poka Yoke, SMED, Kanban, etc.).
- Experiência en el uso de herramientas de solución de problemas (5W, 8D, A3, DMAIC, PDCA, etc.).
- Habilidad en el uso de software CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Manejo de MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Disponibilidad para trabajar en ambientes mixtos (piso de producción y oficina) y actitud de servicio.
**Experiência Deseable**:
- Experiência en la gestión y liderazgo de proyectos de automatización y mejora continua.
- Experiência en ambientes de manufactura de bajo volumen y alta mezcla.
- Programación de robots, PLC y otros equipos como CNC.
**Salario**: $40,000 - $45,000 mensuales
