THE ROLE:
We’re seeking a diligent, detail-driven professional to provide vital expertise and lead Product Direction Letter quality improvement. We’re looking to improve our PDL process adherence and focus on quality to eliminate PDL and engineering concerns. This involves auditing PDLs, enforcing process disciplines, running launch blitzes, training new authors, and developing PRAs for PDL related stop-ships/FSAs. You will:

- Be the leader committed to enforcing PDL disciplines, processes, and tools
- Work with all NA Program teams to support urgent PDL changes

Run PDL audits and launch blitzes to catch and cut off launch issues
YOUR IMPACT:

- Quality lead for PDLs
- Lead PDL launch blitzes for key Forward Model Programs
- Capture global lessons learned and best practices for managing and validating PDL changes
- Eventually provide training and coaching for how to write and validate a quality PDL

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology related field
- Strong knowledge/experience with Microsoft tools (especially Excel)
- Strong knowledge of Product Letter review and signoff process
- Strong knowledge of Product Letter change management process
- Part feature mapping, buildability report, and tree charting experience
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Coaching and training experience
- Courage under fire and willing to do what is right
