Evaluation Engineer

Resumen:
Direct and perform testing and development activities for refrigerated products produced at all global Hussmann divisions. This position is responsible for developing test requirements to support the test objective, interpreting the results, and documenting the testing activities. The incumbent selects and applies standard laboratory techniques and procedures and develops new test procedures as needed and has the ability to make necessary modifications and adaptations to the testing equipment.
**Responsabilidades**:
1. Set up, monitor, and report results of assigned laboratory tests. Recommend and implement design changes on tested equipment.
2. Assist in upgrade and development of laboratory test procedures for evaluating refrigerated display cases.
3. Evaluate test results and make necessary changes in testing program or modifications of equipment under test to continue with test objectives.
4. Prepare reports as necessary detailing the objectives and conclusions of the testing project.
5. Assist in the development of new refrigerated display products.
Calificaciones:
- BS/MS degree(s) in Mechanical Engineering, preferred.
- Experience of product design and evaluation experience.
- Excellent communication skills, oral & written.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification experience a plus.
- Prior Quality Assurance experience a plus.
