Supervisor, Quality Assurance

**Role Summary**:

- Responsible for ensuring product quality and processes according to the norms / standards and customer requirements.
- Manage efficiently human resources, technical, economic and materials resources, to serve the productive areas of the plant.
- Direct the quality assurance activities: receipt inspection, process. Supplier audits. Document control and metrology.
- Establish the necessary controls to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Organize and develop quality equipment to meet the needs of product and processes taking place in the Service Center.
- Act as point of contact with customers ensuring quality support to all functional processes that require from the time the order is received until shipment
- Monitors and reports the quality performance (internal, external, suppliers) and helps identify areas for improvement.
- Provide development opportunities, guide and assist the training of quality staff.
- Monitor the activities of the staff to ensure that the objectives are met.
- Manages PMP of quality area.
- Ensures quality equipment run in accordance with legal requirements and regulations.
- To direct and implement the process of continuous improvement through the identification and selection of projects (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen Events, 6s) that support the continuous improvement of processes and products.
- To coordinate, advise and monitor projects on the business unit.
- Perform certification of GB's.
- Generate savings by implementing continuous improvement projects according to the desired objective.

**Responsibilities & Requirements**: 1. Contribuir a la consecución y aplicación de las métricas clave de rendimiento de la operación (OTD, COPQ, etc).
- Aplicar el código de integridad y conducta.
- Contribuir y fomentar una cultura de mejora continua.
- Contribuir a la consecución de los objetivos de seguridad.
- Desarrollar y mantener las métricas clave del área. Establecer los controles necesarios para su seguimiento.
- Mantener el departamento / área en condiciones que apoyen y cumplan con la norma ISO 9000
- Garantizar el uso adecuado de las herramientas y de Six Sigma
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de los objetivos anuales establecidos: # de proyectos cerrados, ahorros anuales generados, # certificados GB's, # GB's capacitados, Número de eventos Kaizen realizados.
- 9. Ejecutar e implementar al menos un proyecto Black Belt por año. - Impartir el curso de inducción Yellow Belt relacionado con la cultura CIP en la organización.
- Identificar y establecer las oportunidades de mejora.

**Preferred Experience / Skills**: Schooling: Engineer Mechanical / Industrial or career related

Professional Experience: 2 - 3 years minimum post or similar functions

GB / BB Certificate
- Skills: Strong leadership, capacity for analysis and problem solving, teamwork, strong communication (verbal and written) with indoor and outdoor areas, able to handle multiple priorities.
- Skills: High pressure, high leadership and pro-activity, self-directed, dynamic, with a sense of urgency, focus on the achievement of results and objectives.
