This Position reports to:
Production Manager

**Your Role: Own the Challenge**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a production unit or line, executing manufacturing processes that transform parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operations in alignment with production volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards. You will also demonstrate your leadership by organizing and allocating resources to effectively meet production targets.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role is contributing to the the ELSB Transformers Business Line in Nogales.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that production scheduling and planning meet the volume requirements defined in the demand plan and inventory service levels.
- Recommend improvements to technical equipment and facilities as needed.
- Identify deficiencies in the production area, propose improvement actions, and oversee their implementation to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve critical product or equipment issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Passion for processes and working collaboratively with both shop floor and office teams.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, including leadership of production personnel.
- Strong leadership, empathy, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes.
- Experience in the transformers industry and a desire to work in an inclusive, high-performing team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independently.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Experience with SAP is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (required).
