**SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER**

As a Quality Engineer in charge of an Incoming Inspection Area, he/she needs to interface with his/her peers and suppliers to prevent problems by driving initiatives such as:
Monitor and Evaluate Supplier performance
Lead Incoming Inspection personnel and assure an efficient Incoming Inspection process.
Provide investigation and root cause analysis of product failures.
Review of the supplier's quality management system and improvements.
Support reliability test and analysis if required.
Works closely with different departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure that raw material meets specification by creating or modifying Incoming Inspection plan reports.
- Work with suppliers to find solutions to identified problems.
- Bring support to manufacturing process belonged to Supplier rejections.
- Coordinate non-conformant materials process and dispose of the material due to MRB meetings with the team on supplier rejections.
- Follow up and support on audits supplier processes.
- Monitor Supplier performance in a Monthly basis in order to create a Supplier Scorecard.
- Provide Support on developing Supplier First Article Inspection Reports.
- Follow up on supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs).
- Supervises and Support IQC’s activities.
- Develop, execute and analyzed quality reporting measures.
- Ensure the execution of the incoming inspection procedures.
- Participate on decision making relate with suppliers and the quality of their components in conjunction with Engineering and purchasing departments.
- Establishes problem solving strategies and work with Manufacturing and Quality Engineers to reduce MRB inventory.
- Participate on effective Supplier corrective & preventive actions
- Support Lead SQE to resolve quality issue as required.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.

At least 3 years of experience in an engineering discipline.
- Responsible for working with cross-functional groups to coordinate strategies for Supplier’s performance.
- Experience with engineering tools in the management and analysis of data
- Must be motivated, autonomous and a highly driven individual
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills (Statistical Software, Office -Excel-,etc.)
- Articulate verbal communication, writing and negotiating skills
- Data driven
- Work proactively
- Fluent English
- Lean Manufacturing tools

EDUCATION:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical/ Electronic/ Industrial Engineering, Material Science or related field experience.
