At **Siemens Global Business Services (GBS)**, we’re looking for an **AskHR Specialist** to join our centralized **HR Shared Services Center**, where you’ll serve as a first point of contact for employees, managers, and HR stakeholders.

**What role will you play?**:
As an AskHR Specialist, you will provide **Tier 1 customer support** for a wide range of HR-related inquiries, including payroll, HRIS transactions, and employee life cycle events. You’ll work across multiple channels, delivering accurate and timely information in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll also support internal programs such as tuition reimbursement and overpayment collections.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Retrieve and provide information to employees using available tools and systems
- Maintain departmental and employee records, logs, and files
- Process and audit HRIS data entries to ensure high data accuracy
- Generate, distribute, and maintain complex HR documents, forms, and reports
- Provide front-line support on HR policies, programs, benefits, and employee data
- Support and administer programs such as tuition reimbursement and overpayment collections
- Prepare “Share with AskHR” documentation and ensure timely submission
- Identify and escalate complex cases as needed, proposing process improvements

**What you need to succeed**:

- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, **HR support**, **call center**, or **data processing**
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office tools** (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Intermediate to advanced **English** (written and spoken)
- Typing proficiency and comfort with digital platforms
- Knowledge of **PeopleSoft Payroll** and HR systems is highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Knowledge of help desk or ticketing tools is a plus
- College degree preferred
- Familiarity with HR policies, benefits, and procedures is a strong plus
- **Extensive payroll knowledge is a plus
