**TAX MANAGER**

Location Tlaquepaque, Mexico

**YOUR TASKS**
- Tax Compliance:
a) Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant
regulations.
b) Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax
returns.
c) Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential tax saving
opportunities.
d) Implement and maintain tax compliance procedures to mitigate risks and ensure accuracy.
- Tax Planning:
a) Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the organization's tax liability.
b) Provide guidance on the tax implications of business transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions,
and restructuring.
c) Identify opportunities for tax credits, deductions, and incentives to optimize the organization's
tax position.
d) Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, to structure transactions in a tax efficient
manner.
- Financial Reporting:
a) Prepare and review tax provisions for financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles).
b) Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related financial information to internal and external
stakeholders.
c) Assist with the preparation of tax disclosures for financial statements and regulatory filings.
- Tax Audit Support:
a) Serve as the primary point of contact for tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
b) Coordinate responses to tax notices and requests for information, working closely with internal
and external stakeholders.
c) Review and analyze tax audit findings and proposed adjustments, providing recommendations
for resolution.
- Team Management and Development:
a) Supervise and mentor tax staff, providing guidance on technical matters and professional
development.
b) Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment within the tax department.
c) Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their
growth and development.

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or
advanced degree preferred
- 2. 5+ years of experience in tax compliance, planning, and reporting, preferably in a corporate tax
department or public accounting firm.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel.
