**This is **NOT** a remote job**

**Positions Available**:2 X Senior I/ II / III roles

**Working Model**: Hybrid

**Location**:Mexico City; 2 days onsite at Lexis Nexis, 3 days remote.

**Hours of Work**: 8 hours per day, during regular office hours.

**Compensation**:Competitive market salary with applicable benefits.

**Contract Terms**: Fixed-term contract for the first 6 months, with the possibility of full-time employment with Lexis Nexis thereafter.

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage data assets, including training and evaluation datasets, and build pipelines for legal document data.
- Collaborate with legal experts to ensure models meet specific needs and drive continuous improvements through experiments and performance evaluations.

**Requirements**:

- Must have strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Must have practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.
- Formal training in machine learning techniques and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) with libraries like spaCy, word2vec, and BERT.
- Strong Python skills and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases, and vector stores.
- Familiarity with distributed computing systems, API development, containerization, and ML Ops/AI Ops is highly preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred.
