Overview:
The Plant Finished Goods Planner for HIMs will manage the material flow for assigned suppliers and be accountable for maintaining safety stock levels, managing of past due PO’s, product obsolescence, back orders, excessive inventory, planning in accordance with license registrations, managing of Stop Ships and new product/country launches. This position will work with and coordinate with all the Global Operations groups (Transportation, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Regional Planners, Global Licensing, Quality, Packaging, Marketing and Distribution) to ensure there is constant flow and minimum risk to the company’s supply chain. In addition, this position will be responsible for maintaining SKU parameters and ensure accurate planning signals based on batch sizes, minimum order quantities, safety stock, pre & post processing times and transit time.
Job Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions. Includes a strong working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and scheduling software.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft office suite software (e.g. Word, Excel Advanced, Access, MS project, etc.).
- Knowledge of supplier and component qualification processes.
- Knowledge of supplier performance management practices, including supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to perform and produce results in multifunctional teams in a dynamic work environment.
- Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence up, down, and across organizational lines.
- Knowledge of Planning, Purchasing, Transportation in a manufacturing based environment
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and lead various high-level projects.
