Purpose Statement: The objective of the Master Planner is to command the production schedule of shared equipment resources. Liaising with site focus factory managers and supervisors to prioritize the work orders through the shared work centers. Key Job Accountabilities: - Create and maintain production schedule (plan) for shared equipment and processes. - Liaise with Production Planning to execute a plan which results in product shipping on-time. - Monitor full closure of work orders and system dates. - Interface with Customer Focus Teams and production to prioritize work in support of customer's demand. - Perform role in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures and designated Work Instructions to ensure accuracy within the organization. - Accountable to execute on Plexus’ Best People strategy, leaders will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring that their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential. Additional Accountabilities: - Monitor production plan against actual output. - Perform system transactions as required, to ensure accuracy is maintained. - Engage with warehouse on materials and kit availability. - Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) and lean projects for Materials and Manufacturing as assigned. - Responsible for key performance indicators such as WO Aging, Past Due Demand, and On-time Shipments. - Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated
