**Position: Accountant Work Schedule**:Days

**Reports To: Accounting Supervisor**

**Location/Division New Millennium Building Systems Juarez, MX**

**Department: Finance**

**Pay Grade/Pay Rate: TBD**

**Brief Description**:
▪ This position is highly interactive with plant, purchasing and accounting.

▪ It offers a unique opportunity to do monthly accounting activities while also using analytical skills, research, and problem solving to be creative, work on system and accounting projects, and assist with the development and improvement of company inventory software and procedures.

▪ Oversee daily accounting operations and work closely with the
Accounting Supervisor to manage financial functions, including
Intercompany transactions, inventory, taxes, others.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
▪ Responsible for Intercompany transactions. (documentation, reconciliation, etc).
▪ Gather all information needed to claim the VAT receivable and provide to third party on a monthly basis.
▪ Account Reconciliations
▪ Journals entries
▪ Inventory Physical counts
▪ Fixed Assets counts and depreciation calculations
▪ Inventory reconciliations
▪ Income Tax calculation
▪ Periodic review of Balance Sheet reconciliations from other
▪ Support other accounting activities/areas as required.

**Required**
- 2-3 years accounting experience
- Experience with month end closings and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Taxes calculation ISR, IVA.
- Inventory management experience

**Preferred**
- Manufacturing accounting experience
- Tax refunds
