Junior Accountant

At **Cazeta**, we are seeking an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn **Junior Accountant** to support our Accountant Assistant and accounting team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals ready to kickstart their career in accounting while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will play a vital role in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations for our U.S.based clients. This is a remote position based in one of our Cazeta offices in **Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico**, or **Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico**. An **advanced level of English** is mandatory for effective communication with clients and team members.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with **daily accounting tasks** such as data entry and account reconciliations.
- Maintain and update **organized financial records**, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support the preparation and processing of **invoices, payments, and expense reports**.
- Help track and reconcile **Accounts Receivable (A/R)** and **Accounts Payable (A/P)** transactions.
- Assist with **bank statement reconciliations** and other financial reporting tasks.
- Provide administrative support for **audits** and **internal reviews**.
- Contribute to the preparation of **tax documentation** and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Learn and utilize **accounting software** to manage and analyze financial data.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders to support financial operations.
- Take on additional tasks and projects needed to support the accounting team.

**Requirements**:

- Degree (completed or in progress) in **Accounting**, **Finance**, or **Business Administration**.
- **2-5 years of experience** in accounting or financial roles (internship experience is acceptable for recent graduates).
- Basic understanding of **accounting principles** and financial processes.
- Advanced proficiency in **English** (verbal and written).
- Experience with U.S. based clients is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office**, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

Pay: $22,500.00 - $28,000.00 per month
