**Responsibilities**:
**Qlik Sense Application Development**:
Utilize Qlik Sense scripting to perform complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations, including data loading, transformation, and optimization from diverse data sources.
**Data Management & Governance**:
Work with Qlik DataTransfer to facilitate data loading and Lineage Connector to ensure data traceability and governance within Qlik Sense environments.
Manage.qvds files effectively, including creation, update, and optimization strategies for performance and reusability.
**Architecture & Integration**:
Collaborate with data engineering teams on data warehousing and data lake initiatives.
**Alerting & Notification**:
Configure and manage automated alerts and custom notifications within Qlik Sense to proactively inform users and stakeholders of key business events or data thresholds.
**Analysis & Support**:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting and analytical requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, supporting business decision-making.
**Tool Familiarity & Collaboration**:
Utilize Qlik Sense Desktop for development and testing activities.
Work effectively in environments that may include SAS or other analytical tools, understanding potential integration points or data flows.
Collaborate closely with other BI developers, data architects, business analysts, and IT operations teams.
**Required Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
5 years of hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development, including data modeling, scripting (ETL), and dashboard creation.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from various database systems.
Solid understanding of three-tier architecture and its implications for BI solution design and deployment.
Demonstrable experience with ETL development using Qlik Sense scripting tool.
Practical experience with Qlik DataTransfer and Lineage Connector.
Proven ability to implement and manage role and permission management within Qlik Sense Enterprise.
Experience in configuring automated alerts and custom notifications in Qlik Sense.
In-depth knowledge in handling.qvds files for data optimization and reusability.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
Knowledge of data governance best practices.
Experience with Qlik NPrinting or Qlik Sense APIs.
Certifications in Qlik Sense are a plus.
