**Main Responsibilities**
- Submitting request for quotation to source gage suppliers for new programs based on gage planning workbook provided by AQE/SDT
- Coordinating gage/fixture quote value analysis for cost, timing, design, build and validation, providing summary to SDT for supplier selection
- Awarding gage business to the selected supplier, supporting SDT to provide PO and CAD for design kickoff, design approval, gage build, validation (MSA) and final delivery
- Gage / Fixture supplier development, maintain approved gage supplier list for NA & LCC
- Coordinating new supplier assessments and minority supplier initiative
- Supporting purchasing for PO and invoicing issues for gage suppliers
- Track and report gage build status and cost savings for estimated vs sourced cost
- Leading gage program development, maintain global gage build standard, best practices, lessons learned, new technologies, fundamentals / concepts, techniques & philosophies

**Common Requirements:
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, ASME Y14.5M Interpretation, ISO 1101 Interpretation, OEM Specific GD&T Interpretation, TE 9000 / ISO/TS 16949 / ISO 17025 requirements
- Gage Systems / Procedures, Yanfeng Global Gage Standards, Variable & Attribute Gage R&R
- Gage/Fixture design, build, certification, 3rd party certification, Gage R, Gage R&R, MSA manual interpretations, OEM Gage Standards / Library, Safety / Ergonomics

**Education**

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Science, or equivalent experience in a related field, related field with minimum 5 years of related work experience

**Work Experience**
- ISO/QS/TS Quality System experience required
- Advanced Quality Planning, including strong proficiency with the AIAG Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plan, FMEAs, PPAPs, MSA and Statistical Process Control (SPC) standards required
- Automotive OEM and supplier experience, preferred

**Qualifications**
- Strong metrology skills with understanding of CMM and scan layouts
- Knowledge of statistical concepts, design of experiments and problem-solving methodology, including experience preparing problem solving documents (e.g., 8D)
- Proficient in computer software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TeamCenter, SharePoint, Teams); experience with TruFusion software preferred
- Dimensional gage design (2-D, 3-D)/build/certification/verification experience
- Good mechanical/technical skills and ability to read Engineering drawings with GD&T proficiency, including ASME Y14.5
- Knowledge of dimensional measurement technology and techniques, including data collection & interpretation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to work in a self-directed environment and towards a common goal
- Knowledge of North American-based OEM gage and fixture build standards/ requirements preferred
- MSA, Gage R&R methodology and interpretation
- Knowledge of International Certification programs (ISO 9001/ISO 17025/TS 16949/ CNAB accreditations) preferred
