**Job Title**: Design Engineer
**Job Location**: García, Nuevo Leon
The Design Engineer (Product Designer) to be at OEM´s Design and engineering Center or Vitro facility. He/She will be responsible for providing CAD support on Glazing Systems, which will include, but not limited to the windshield, drop windows, quarter windows and vents, backlite and roof panels with and without encapsulation and other value add components attached to the glass. The product designer is responsible for leading and or supporting all design activates including but not limited to CAD/development, system/environment packaging, 3D design, tolerance stack-ups and 2D drawings. On-time delivery of all projects assigned to him/her, meeting technical requirements for design and manufacturability at a level of quality that is acceptable to both VITRO and its customer.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Responsible for ensuring VITRO product designs meet technical requirements including development and checking of assembly and part prints, specifications, tolerances, and interface stack-ups.
2. Serve as product design technical expert between the customer and VITRO and between VITRO´s departments.
3. Supplies product designs, drawings on CAD systems. The 3D designs and drawings include component and assembly layouts which require the use of multiple views, geometric construction, tolerances, precision dimensioning and technical data.
4. Compiles technical data from CAD assemblies, files and customer conversations, performs geometric construction and prepares new product models and drawings for engineering evaluation.
5. On time delivery and high quality of all product design activities to ensure successful data and drawing release to support program milestones.
**Required Education**: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering)
**Language Required**:Advanced English Level
**Required Experience**: 2 years minimum
Advanced CATIA / AutoCad knowledge
Advanced Software NX knowledge
