-Job description

To mobilise and direct projects of medium to high complexity and scale from definition to closure. Responsible for the end to end delivery of a project, multiple small projects or workstream of a larger programme, proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, risks, outcomes and benefits. Responsible for deploying the Business Agility framework, Business Transformation Framework (BTF) and ad hoc tools within their project. Closely work with Programme Managers, Stakeholders, EXCO sponsor and Portfolio Management Office to ensure alignment. Project Lead may provide oversight and guidance to multiple smaller initiatives at local or regional level.
- Produces a well-defined project plan, identifying the key milestones and assigning responsibilities/resources
- Communicates the plan to stakeholders and agree governance terms
- Mobilises the project team and allocates tasks and roles using governance team meetings as agreed
- Provides timely reports on project status, including risks and issues, budget and dependencies, evaluating project performance and proposing recommendations to keep project pace and remove barriers.
- Ensures compliance with HSBC Group policy and local regulation requirements by engaging relevant areas during execution
- Sets the pace and operating rhythm, driving a culture of achievement. Keeps focus on the medium and long term goals and the Group’s values particularly when under short term pressure. Manages change and implementation within the business to ensure the change lands well and sticks, contributing to benefits realisation
Requirements
- Project management skills and experience. Examples of the delivery of on time and on budget projects that achieve business case stated outcomes
- Experience in managing teams and stakeholder management experience, specially impactful communication, influencing and running project
- Experience on governance Implementation, change management and benefits realisation
- Ability to learn and understand
