**Position Purpose**:
**Keep Mission Hills Colgate - Palmolive employees, facilities and assets safe leading the security strategy for business partners in Transportation & Warehousing. Provide consistent, high-quality service, 24/7 to Mission Hills Colgate people and locations world-wide.**

**Let’s talk about main responsibilities**:

- **
Core responsibility of Cargo Security program management and security leadership.**
- ** Diagnose and design the security of the raw materials supply chain and finished goods for export and import activities, as well as the domestic and local distribution.**
- ** Identify, develop, implement and maintain security processes, policies through the area of his / her responsibility to reduce risks, respond to incidents and limit exposure and liability in all areas of assets, physical, personal and reputation risk.**
- ** Responsible for Security Audits to distribution centers, transport companies in order to analyze vulnerabilities.**
- ** Conducting Risk Assessments in the localities where our facilities are located.**
- ** Monitor the proper administration of budget expenditure, assets and projects of the department, incorporating approved security standards and guidelines into projects to include construction, renovation and production related projects.**
- ** Interaction with the Legal department for accreditation of property in case of accidents and robberies.**
- ** Responsible for C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) certification, established by the United States government to safeguard the industry's exports to the United States through security at its borders.**
- ** Responsible for defining and implementing the security plan for all functional departments of Transportation and Warehousing, considering national goals and objectives.**
- ** Design and implementation of preventive and corrective actions in national security to reduce accident rates on freight.**
- ** Implement operational risk mitigation strategies to protect employees and facilities to counter risks and gain buy-in and support from appropriate management.**
- ** Coordinate and supervise properly provide the escort service for all the freight transport.**
- ** Constant communication with owners and managers operating distribution centers and transportation and flow of information with all security stakeholders in Mission Hills and Colgate’s Antara office.**
- ** Oversee and supervise daily operations of physical security, guard force, and information assessment teams.**
- ** Supervise security and loss prevention leader, security analyst and security access and badging analyst.**
- ** Serve as MH Security Manager in Security Manager absence.**
- ** Supervise security operations at Colgate’s Mission Hills ensuring conformity of current and planned security operations with approved security standards.**
- ** Assist in the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive headquarters security program to include direct oversight of security guards operations, access control procedures, alarm and CCTV systems, ID systems for employees / vendors / visitors, headquarters emergency response planning, and executive protection.**
- ** Assists in the development of policy and procedure related to the management of identifying, assessing and addressing all potential loss exposures due to theft, vandalism, sabotage, or other identified unauthorized or illegal activities within Latin America.**
- ** Build relationships with regional peers and leaders across the consumer products industry. Benchmark with partners and peers in the industry and share best practices.**
- ** Maintain strong communication and support links with the Overseas Security Advisory Council and local law enforcement, emergency services and regulatory agencies across Latin America**

**What you need for this position**:

- **
Academic Background in Criminal Justice, Industrial Engineering, Business or related.**
- ** Excellent spoken and written English and Spanish communication skills are a must.**
- ** 7-10 years of experience in the security / intelligence field in the consumer goods industry (manufacturing environment). Experience in law enforcement is highly preferred.**
- ** Security risk management and threat analysis skills and demonstrated skills in writing and reviewing security procedures and plans.**
- ** Understanding of emergency management and life safety policy.**
- ** Working knowledge of established corporate security practices and delivery of services within a business environment.**
- ** Must have strong computer skills with competence with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.**
- ** Practical knowledge of technical security systems (alarms, CCTV, access control) and experience in managing uniform guard services**
- ** Experience in performing sensitive investigations, both civil and criminal, in a corporate env
