The role of Production Manager is a key position in our company. The purpose of Production Manager is to guarantee the manufacturing of products through efficient and effective administration of human and material resources, based on local SHE, Quality and Operations standards and procedures applicable to the company, in order to satisfy the customer requirements always under the pillars of Environment, always supported by global rules about ESG.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage production personnel and plant assets to meet the production plan and satisfy the demand of the Leather, Performance Coatings and Packaging Businesses.
- Carry out investigation processes related to SHE and Quality incidents in the production area to eliminate problems and avoid recurrence.
- Implement and monitor preventive and corrective actions, observations, audits and SHE and Quality investigation findings related to the Production area.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance department the release and receipt of equipment for the execution of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of Production equipment.
- Define, propose, and implement Capex together with the Operations Manager to improve and optimize Production processes.
- Coordinate the implementation of new products and processes coordinating with R&D and OpEx.
- Support and promote OpEx initiatives to implement best practices (Tier 1, 5 S's, OEE, etc.)
- Maintain and update documentation regarding SHE, Quality and Processes related to Production procedures.
- Manage and schedule Production staff on issues related to vacations, overtime, permits and training.
- Evaluate the performance of production personnel, provide feedback and establish development plans.
- Define, measure and control the KPIs of the Production plant to achieve annual objectives.
- Ensure process orders are released, filled, and confirmed in SAP to continue production and meet demand.
- Maintain the stock level of process consumables (filters, liners, bags, etc.) to provide continuity to production.

**YOUR PROFILE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDE**:

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, Engineering (Chemical or Industrial)
- Spanish/English language
- 3-5 years in similar position or equivalent in Chemical Industry, mainly in polymers sector
- Resource management of chemical plants and polymer production
- Management of process equipment (reactors, pumps, filters, etc.)
- Experience in Best Practices (Opex, 5 S's, TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, OEE, etc.)
- Standards related to SHE and Quality (Clean Industry, ISO, etc.)
- SAP and MS Office information systems (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Team player
- Management Skills
- Excellent communication, influencing skills in English/Spanish
- Action oriented and performance driven
- Creativity and Innovation and an eye for opportunities
- Dare to challenge with a Continuous improvement mentality
