**Job Description**:
This position is intended to be fulfilled by a focused and self-motivated engineer to work on a dynamic Start-Up and ramp-up of a new manufacturing plant. This experienced engineer in stamping and forming and sheet metal work, develops and implements new processes and machinery, standard times and manufacturing procedures for the fabrications and assembly areas.

The basic objectives of this manufacturing engineer are: develop and implement new processes, keeping processes safe, efficient, zero waste, as well as the continuous improvement and cost reduction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support manufacturing functions with design related input and assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
- Responsible for the selection and implementation of new processes, machines and/or tooling necessary to support new products.
- Responsible for attaining efficiency targets during the ramp up phase of the implementation.
- Selects and supervises all the contractors that are needed to implement new processes, layout changes and/or improvement projects inside the factory including the technical aspects of their work as well as the safety rules compliance.
- Support operations as Process expert
- Participate in Risk Assessments
- Responsible for the analysis required for the CARs necessary to support the new product implementation or major process changes.
- Develop detail project plans to expand capacity and/or increase efficiency and execute them.
- Provide feedback to design engineering to improve the product introduction process.
- Develop and review procedures such as standard work and work instructions.
- Determines standard times for assembly of every new product made in the plant.
- Determines and controls all manufacturing capabilities within the plant and reports them to the Engineering Department, as well as improving utilization and capacity
- Analyze and solve problems for production, safety, logistics, engineering, materials and quality departments.

Qualifications:
**Requirements**:
Engineering bachelor’s degree. Minimum of five years of progressive experience in Manufacturing including the use of tools like AutoCAD software, lean manufacturing principles, 3P and six sigma. Demonstrate at least 10 years of experience in sheet metal processes including:
Stamping - progressive press (e.g. Eagle, seyi, etc..)

Laser cut (e.g. Amada, Fagor, etc..)

Roll former (e.g. Fagor, ehrhardt tool, etc..)

Turret punch and cut (e.g. amada, produtech etc..)

Press brake (e.g. Mitsubishi, cinicinnati, amada etc..)

Multibend center (e.g. RAS, pivatic, Salvagnini etc.)

Experience in cell design by any methodology. Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office Suite. SAP. English language proficiency is also required. Some Travel will be required, local and International.
