HeadQuarters is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. As a global start-up, we partner with US cannabis companies to provide support in finance, sales operations, and logistics. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in accounting to gain hands-on experience and grow within a dynamic organization.

Working time for this position**:9am - 5pm PST**

**Responsibilities**:

- Data Entry - Download the most updated information from ERP - Accounting/ Sales systems to update dashboards and reports.
- Bank Reconciliation - Download the most updated Bank Statements and reconcile them against ERP system balances + help in the elaboration of the Bank compliance
- Journal Entries - Post Day to day, Recurring & Month End Closure Journal Entries
- Financial Reporting - Assist the Sr. Accountants in the preparation of Financial Statements
- Assisting in Audits - Make sure that all posted Journal Entries include a backup and/or worksheet for Audit purposes

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
