We are committed to enabling visual communications and vital conversations. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Provide effective video remote interpreting service for consumers. - Exhibit professional behavior at all times including punctuality and preparedness for shifts, respectful and collaborative interaction with colleagues and supervisors and timely and accurate record keeping. - Demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to new and changing technologies. - Complete video and platform training and pass the internal readiness check before taking live calls. - Participate in ongoing quality assurance and call monitoring programs. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**: - Fluent and have strong verbal communication skills in both the source and target language (Spanish-to-English, or vice-a-versa). - Must have at least 1 - 2 years of community/medical interpreting experience. - Certifications such as those endorsed by NCHI and NBCMI: CCHI or CMI respectively. If certifications are not available in your language you are required to pass a language assessment. - Familiarity with the medical profession and its privacy laws (HIPAA) as well as other state and federal laws applied to medical interpreting. - Demonstrate the ability to work as a team even in a video remote interpreting environment. - Pass the Stratus Medical Generalist 3.0 hour certificate upon completion of training. **"THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CHARGE FOR ITS RECRUITMENT, SELECTION AND HIRING PROCESSES"** Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Medio tiempo, Por tiempo indeterminado Horas de medio tiempo: 20-40 por semana Salario: $19,000.00 - $24,000.00 al mes Horario: - Diurno - Incluye fines de semana - Nocturno - Turno de 8 horas Consideraciones ante el COVID-19: si, es home office Pregunta(s) de postulación: - How much time have you been interpreting professionally? - How much experience do you have as a medical interpreter? - Are you available to work on a Mon-Sun schedule with 2 days off?
