The Credit Initiation Group Mgr is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to assess the ability of individuals, companies and institutions to meet the demands of loans, agreements and extended obligations in coordination with the Operations - Services team.The overall objective of this role is to ensure financial threats to the company are minimized by determining the terms or level of credit that can be granted without undue risk. **Responsibilities**: - Manage multiple teams, senior managers and units or a functional area, including people management, budget and planning - Typically a direct report to the Credit Operations Head or Operations and Technology Head - Contribute to broader, more complex projects/work, including potential multi country projects as required - Oversee the budget, policy formulation and planning and resolve complex and varied issues with substantial potential impact - Evaluate subordinates' performance and make recommendations for pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions - Oversee contract negotiations with vendors or contractors and ensure procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards - Provide evaluative judgments based on information analysis in complicated, unique and dynamic situations; drawing on diverse sources **Qualifications**: - 10+ years of experience in a related role - Senior to advanced level experience in related role with commensurate experience in people management - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Master’s degree preferred Adicionalmente maneja: - Originación del Portfolio de préstamos de empleados para el grupo financiero. - **Job Family Group**: Operations - Services - **Job Family**: Credit Initiation - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
