**What you will bring to the team**

**Your typical day as a Toshiba Software Engineer III / DevOps will involve**:

- Maintenance and administration of Research & Development build infrastructure on premise
- Continuous collaboration with other team members and other teams distributed geographically
- Designing and maintaining segregated environments for development, testing, and production. Resource monitoring and adjustments
- Design, validation, and execution of backup tasks and Disaster Recovery procedures
- Collaborate with Director of Cybersecurity on regular security monitoring and identification of security issues, and implementation and maintenance of security controls
- Assist developers and support in investigation and troubleshooting of hosting-related product issues
- Maintain service level agreements (SLA’s)
- On-call coverage needed sometimes

**Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of**
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or combination of 4+ years of equivalent professional experience and professional certifications
- 5+ years’ experience in System Infrastructure development/Management
- 5+ years of working experience in scripting languages such as:

- JSON (nice to have)
- YAML
- PS
- Python (nice to have)
- Groovy (recommended)
- Designing and maintaining Infrastructure as a Code - IaC (recommended)
- Experience working CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with version control systems (g., GIT)
- Experience with Disaster Recovery Plans
- Strong analytical skills, problem determination, attention to details, teamwork, and excellent communication skills
