**Role Description**

In the context of our expansion in North America, Iris Galerie Mexico is seeking a bookkeeper to work directly with the General Accountant.

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct ledger accounts
- Conduct reconciliation of bank, credit cards and all accounts on a needed basis
- Process accounts receivable/payable al in a timely manner
- Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner - Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Knowledge of handling transactions in multiple currencies, including exchange rate management

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Certification in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus
