Manage relationships with suppliers, monitor suppliers’ performance and resolves supplier issues,
- Drive and pursue cost improvements initiatives, lead cross functional projects and reports savings on a regular basis
- Continuously develop and execute commodity strategy within the assigned category
- Reviews and negotiate agreements with vendors.
- Assesses vendor quotes and bids for accuracy and cost competitiveness using competitive strategies.
- Ensures timely delivery by providing follow up measures and expedites vendor deliveries for MRO PO’s as necessary.
