**DESCRIPTION**:
Are you excited to drive high-visibility, strategic logistics and technology solutions? MX Supply Chain is looking for a Sr Program Manager, long-term planner who continuously engages across business, technical and operational teams to deliver bigger smiles for our customers.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage the mid and long-term forecast, capacity and peak planning for the Amazon Logistics MX network.
- Work in partnership with Operations team to set optimal network plans and transportation choices to meet on-time delivery goals.
- Inspect demand forecasts, capacity plans critically and challenge assumptions from business teams.
- Define a near term vision and plan to deliver it driving continuous delivery customer experience improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established quality and efficiency goals.
- Provide high quality inputs and align with finance and leadership teams using a combination of in-person meetings, well written data backed documents, detailed business models or presentations.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks/obstacles within both internal and external business environment with mínimal guidance.

A day in the life
- You attend daily and weekly business reviews and understand what is happening to key network metrics.
- You spend time with strategy & Operations teams to find ways to meet customer expectations.
- You write quality documents that seek to plan, inform & align internal stakeholders.

You challenge the status quo and drive data-based decision making.
- You are always ready to jump in and take charge when problems and challenges emerge.

About the team
The Middle Mile Volume Planning team is responsible for forecasting and planning inbound and outbound transportation flows across the entire network, striving to achieve optimal forecast accuracy through continuous data analysis. The team coordinates with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and other internal stakeholders to optimize transportation movement between facilities while identifying opportunities for network efficiency improvements and cost optimization.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- 6+ years of program or project management experience
- 6+ years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience
- English and Spanish Fluent

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
