**Public Policy Manager, Regulatory Responsibilities**:

- Execute cross-functional regional/country-wide strategic initiatives, focused on legislative and product policy priorities
- Monitor the political and regulatory environment in the region, and identify opportunities to advance policies and regulations that benefit the company and our local communities where we reside
- Operate internally to land cross-functional work, and ensure that Meta cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders receive timely updates on developments, ensuring key reporting and processes are completed
- Work internally to obtain general narratives, and adapt them to regional teams’ needs, focused on local policy engagements
- Propose region or subregion wide strategies for engagement with trade and industry associations, non-profits, international organizations, and civil society groups to advance priorities in the region

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in law, political science, international affairs, or similar
- 7+ years of experience in public policy, advocacy, or government affairs
- Experience with the political and legislative process, policymakers, and stakeholders in region
- Familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks and policy trends in Latin America
- Experience in strategy and/or project/program management
- Fluent English
- Experience working on platform policy issues (such as content moderation, intermediary liability, competition, youth)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Masters degree in law, political science, international affairs, data science or similar
- Experience in government or Congress regulatory processes
- Experience working in the technology industry
- Experience in partnerships with goverments and international organizations
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
