Sourcing Coordinator (Glasses, Valves, Compressors and Plastics)

**Description**:
Responsible of assisting the Strategic Sourcing Manager in the Global/Regional Sourcing Supply Base Strategies, focusing on critical components related to Glasses, Valves, Compressors and Plastics Fabrication.

**Requirements**:

- 2 years in strategic sourcing roles
- 1 year in Glasses, Valves, Compressors and Plastics commodities
- 3 years in supply chain related function desirable
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, high sense of urgency, customer focus (internal and external)
- Advanced excel
- Advanced conversational English.
- Desirable knowledge in refrigeration, electrical and structural parts.
- 100% in-person modality

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Provide the organization with productivity and cost saving projects to meet and/or exceed the annual objective.
- Execute sourcing strategies under the guidance of the Strategic Sourcing Manager in alignment with Global Supply Manager.
- Maintain the MAPICS database with any commercial term such as: price, incoterm, payment term and conditions, for new and current parts.
- Develop new vendors for Monterrey plant, in alignment with Global and Local sourcing Managers.
- Coordinate quality and engineering approval for new samples. Assure Global Sourcing procedures for integration of new supplier/part is followed.
- Support Purchasing Area in expediting activities.
