**Descripción y detalle de las actividades**
- Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Responsible the security of all personnel under his/her charge Manage teams in Planning, Purchasing & Warehouse. Prepare reports on inventory, material usage and efficiency, Maintain the employees “Standard work” to track and monitor team’s performance, Manage cycle counting and inventory Accuracy to make sure cycle counts are performed asschedule, and drive process changes to improve the accuracy of the inventory, Direct and coordinate Materials department efforts to maintain manufacturing withoutinterruptions, Design, test and implement Lean Techniques for Material Replenishment Systems. flow such us:Kanban, Pull System, VMI and JIT among others, Coordinate, facilitate, and assist materials personnel to prioritize daily work activities andmonitor and revise priorities based in MTE Revenue plan and priorities, Create instructions/procedures and train materials department regarding all activities, Monitor and supervise inventory levels and performance to targets, Ensure proper inventory rotations (FIFO) and Shelf-Life Cycle are properly followed, Direct efforts to implement Inventory Controls to assure material is securely kept, Communicate shortage information to affected departments as needed and Sr. Staff for majorissues, Direct efforts to maintain 5’s in all materials areas including outside backyard, Act as a liaison regarding material disruptions with Production, Engineering and Quality, Ensure Material department personnel are kept current with required training on procedures,work instructions, and other training needs, Responsible for Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Monthly disposition process, Establish personal goals for each of personal under his/her responsibility.

**Experiência y requisitos**
- Minimum of 5 years with 10 years preferred within Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics,Experience in Electro-Mechanical or Manufacturing industries preferred, Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience,master’s degree is a plus, Experience working with SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning), Knowledge about ERP systems (Avante), APICS certification (preferred), Advance knowledge on lean/materials principles, Communication skills, strategic thinking, focus on results, Management & organizational skills, Project management abilities, Manages workload with a strong sense of urgency, with demonstrated success meeting multipledeadlines and priorities. PC/Microsoft proficiency, including WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint.
