**The Job**
The **Senior Specialist, Max Promotion Strategy** supports the planning and execution of in-app promotions on Max across the LATAM region, focusing on Live Events (DAI, Awards, Simulcast) and segment test planning. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including Content Operations, Ads Operations, Sports, Retention, Growth Marketing, and Owned & Operated (O&O) teams, to enhance content awareness, boost engagement, and improve user retention on Max. The position ensures that all campaigns align with local and global strategic priorities.
**The Daily - Major Activities**
**In-Stream Promotion Planning and Execution** (30%)
Assist in planning and executing in-stream promotions on Max, focusing on live event content categories such as soccer leagues (e.g., Paulistao), awards (e.g., Oscars), and segment tests (e.g., Grace Period), among other priority campaigns across Ad Free and Ad Lite tiers.
**Strategic Alignment** (20%)
Support the alignment of local market needs with global promotional strategies, ensuring campaigns are tailored to regional priorities while maintaining overall cohesion.
**Scheduling Support** (20%)
Provide direct support to the In-Stream scheduling team, ensuring the smooth execution of promotional plans.
**Data Analysis and Optimization** (15%)
Collaborate with the Data Analytics & Insights team to monitor, analyze, and optimize promotional efforts based on engagement and retention metrics.
**Campaign Management and Reporting** (10%)
Maintain and update the campaign planning database and dashboard, ensuring clear communication with the broader marketing organization and providing performance insights in recurring meetings.
**Trend Analysis and Recommendations** (5%)
Identify key trends and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of future promotions.
**The Essentials**
- 3+ years of experience in media, TV networks, or the streaming industry.
- Experience in promotional planning, scheduling, and execution within media or entertainment sectors.
- Strong communication skills in Spanish and English (verbal and written). Portuguese is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong project management skills to oversee campaign timelines and deliverables.
- Analytical mindset, with experience using data to optimize promotional performance.
- Creative thinking, with the ability to develop innovative promotion strategies that enhance user engagement.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and a can-do attitude.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and adapt in a dynamic environment
