As a **Security Officer - Logistics Screener** in **SANTA FE, NM**, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role at a logistics and distribution location by monitoring designated areas, conducting access control, and performing security-related screening duties. Your presence will help to deter incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone you interact with. **What You’ll Do**:

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or materials entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Follow site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and the client to maintain security-related standards.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting personnel and visitors in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations as required.
- Maintain detailed documentation of screening activities, observations, and incidents as instructed.
- Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to promote security-related awareness throughout the location.
- Participate in emergency response activities according to established protocols when appropriate.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Experience with X ray screening is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
