**Role Description**

**This is a Part-Time, 100% remote contract role, with potential for a full-time role in the future.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and features.
- Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects and ensure proper functionality.
- Report defects and inconsistencies clearly and accurately, following established procedures.
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track defects using issue tracking tools, ensuring proper documentation of test results and outcomes.
- Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a testing perspective.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the QA team.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends in quality assurance and testing.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3years+ experience as a QA Tester or similar role.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
- Familiarity with issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of different types of testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- ISTQB certification or relevant testing certifications are a plus.
