Jr. Quality Engineering

The Jr. Quality Engineer is responsible for executing the corporate and specific requirements of food safety, quality and laboratory.
**Essential Functions**
- Responsibility for complying with food safety and quality standards in the plant
- Responsible for executing the routines of inspection, verification and validation of quality and safety
- Responsible for training operational staff on quality issues
- Perform necessary actions to ensure the integrity of the SQF Code 8.1 system
- Supervise the implementation and compliance of the Food Safety and Quality (SQF) program for the plant
- Development of root cause analysis to identify potential and recurring problems of quality and safety
- Program and execute quality equipment calibrations.
- Generate and maintain records in the quality and safety systems established by the company.
- Maintain the process and product quality by complying with the company's quality manual.
- Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained.
- Communicate any deviation, problem and / or abnormality with the equipment, processes and products.

- Minimum Qualifications:

- 2 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 2 Years - Experience in Position
- 0 Years - Experience managing people/projects

- Travel requirements:

- 5% - on average travels 2 week out of the year.

- 4 Years - Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
