Head of Logistics

**Job objective**

Management of the Logistics Operations in the Plant MAT including the Materials Planning and Production Control functions; coordinates and oversees physical flows and operations within the receiving, storage warehouses, material supply and KS/VK, MM staging and KSK Order Control and Shipping departments, in line with the Logistics function standards, FIFO principle and the management objectives of the Plant MAT. Responsible for the accomplishment of the set of goals defined for the area in terms of Cost and Delivery. The holder of this position acts as disciplinary supervisor for the PDE SCM function in the Plant.

**Main activities**
- Develop department-specific goals, break down and prioritize the department goals, follow up on goals and evaluate goal achievement.
- Co-Responsible for the process of Logistics Operations and responsible for the performance and risk analysis of said process.
- Support the strategic planning of the unit by breaking down or developing the strategic planning for the quality department, within a short or medium-range time frame.
- Plan and administrate the budget in their area of responsibility, in cooperation with the supervisor, and make sure there is compliance with it.
- Develop and implement personnel planning in their area of responsibility, in cooperation with the supervisor; also make sure qualified personnel are hired.
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to associates that report to them; make personnel decisions in cooperation with the HR department and the supervisor.

**Job requirements**
- ** Education**: Bachelor's degree (administration, science)
- ** Experience**:Automotive Industry (5-7 years), Management position (2-3 years)
- ** Technical knowledge**: Warehouse Management System, Warehouse Operations, Transportations & Distributions, Customs (IMMEX, FTAS: NAFTA, CAFTA, TLCUE), Quality Tools, Risk Analysis)
- ** Languages**: Spanish (advanced level), English (bussiness level)
- ** Competences**: Communication, Team work/Cooperation, Costumer Orientation, Process Oriented Thinking
