It is responsible for using the capacity and requirements information to achieve a balance between the two and generate an executable production plan. It also provides delivery date information to both the Master Planning function and Customer Service. - Responsible for the correct administration of inventories of sub-assemblies and/or finished product, optimizing their levels. - Plans and establishes specific production schedules, with the goal of maximizing shipment volume, shipment performance, and manufacturing efficiency. - Make sure that the processes are generating and providing the expected outputs. - Establishes communication with the Raw Material Purchasing function to determine if there are supply problems of purchased components that affect the production schedule, as well as validate manufacturing delays (in communication with the Operations area) that have the same effect., and recommends corrective or alternative actions that can be taken. - Responsible for the satisfaction of internal and external customers through the activities described. - Complies with the requirements of the production plan efficiently and on time, channeling the requirements through the corresponding service areas, taking into account the requirements established by the master production plan, always with the objective of reaching the OTTP metric., established in the SIOP process (Sales, Inventory and Operations Plan). - Generation of production plans for assigned areas/within their responsibility. - Monitoring of the execution of the production plan, establishing communication with the support functions (Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, etc.). - Inform the Master Planning function about changes in delivery dates and/or other information that may affect the performance of deliveries to Clients. - Works with the Planning Leader to synchronize activities to meet the required service levels.
Experiência y requisitos
Bachelor's degree in LAE, LAM, LNI, LCE, LM, II or related. 2 years of experience as Materials Planner or Production Control. English 80% - 90% Advanced use of computers and programs (MS Office), numerical and analytical skills. SAP (desirable).
