Logistics Analyst

Coordinates inbound and outbound logístical operations, including transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products. Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating, and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing, and optimizing time service delivery. Administers an effective system that meets the organization's customer delivery date needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods. Non-warehouse related. Makes all necessary arrangements to transport finished products. Determines the most effective mode of transportation, negotiating arrangements with carriers, scheduling individual shipments, and arranging export documentation. Monitors service and negotiates settlement of damage claims. Serves as a resource on regulations, such as hazardous material packaging and shipping. This position creates the paperwork for export of materials and/or finished goods preparing and reviewing all documentation necessary with US and MX broker coordinating the logistics with all the different carrier companies’ locals and international. Developing the following activities. **ACCOUNTABILITIES**: - Support the import/export of raw material, machinery, MRO and finished goods to do the invoice and coordinate with the US and MX broker for the correct paperwork. - Application of Company Policies and Discipline - Daily prioritization - Monitoring of implementation and results - Coordinate overtime - Review and report all discrepancies to logistics Monterrey team - Improvement in the Logistics process - Track freight transport and crossing logistics, including special "Inbond" operations - Verify the correct, timely receipt and shipment of all materials and / or finished products - Ensure driver availability - Coordinate priorities, critical and urgent shipments - Coordinate the shipment of finished products to the Customers - Identify cost reduction - Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities (Kaizen, lean events, etc.). - Review the import/export invoices in annex 24 software according with the kind of material that we need import we will use different keys of pediment like A1, IN, AF or V1. - Prepare the paperwork for the virtual operations, the invoice and coordinate with purchasing and receiving team, the vendor, and the MX broker. - Procure update and prepare the different permits for the correct maquila operations (IMMEX) with secretary of economy and SAT. - Support the discharges for the annex 24 system and prepare the reports for annex 30 to submit every month at SAT website. - Support the preparation documentation for the export the Finish good (air handle units) and all material required by the service department and making the tracking number according with the kind of material, once the invoice is made is necessary coordinate with the US broker the correct entry and manifest elaboration. And the Pedimento with the MX broker. - Review NAFTA certificates sent by for each vendor. - Review invoices from the US and MX broker. **QUALIFICATIONS**: **Minimum Qualifications**:(education, experience level, knowledge, skills, designations/certifications). - 1 to 3 years of experience in Import and export area - Experience in HTS codes. - Knowledge in customs law. - Skills required annex 24 systems. - Computer skills required (office). - Experience in annex 31 - Bachelor’s Degree in international trade or foreign trade. - Knowledge in logistic coordination. - Fluent English 80%. **COMPETENCIES**: - Analytical skills. - Sense of urgency. - Demonstrating ethics and integrity. - Decision making - Results-oriented - Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. - Solving problems. - Proactive. - Teamwork oriented. - Computer skills (excel).
