Accelerate YOU at Brillio** **Role: QA Analyst** **Functional Area: PPE** **Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent** **Location: Guadalajara Hybrid** **The Opportunity**: We are looking for a skilled and experienced QA Analyst to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. This includes designing and implementing tests, debugging, and assisting the development team in defining corrective actions. The QA Analyst will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.The QA Analyst must monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to exceed quality standards. Bachelor's degree ( Engineering ) Relevant Years of experience required to perform the role: 3-4 years Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases Firsthand experience with both white box and black box testing Firsthand experience with automated testing tools Solid knowledge of SQL, scripting and data analysis Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. Specifically testing facilitation and execution in an agile environment Experience working in Azure DevOps to create and maintain - Test Cases - Defects Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus **To succeed, this role’s responsibilities would involve**: Creating and managing test strategy documents to define “Software Testing Approach” to achieve testing objectives. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents with the project team to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities. Perform a walkthrough of the test cases /test suites created with development team, BA, Business success team. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs. Chair and manage QA defect triage sessions with the project team. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Liaise/collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers, team leads, business analysts) to identify system requirements. Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
