Research Solutions is looking for a Senior QA Analyst (Contractor) to join our team. This is a contract-based position for a highly capable QA professional with 6-8 years of experience in functional testing, defect tracking, test planning, and reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining the quality and performance of our digital products, ensuring they meet defined standards and delivery timelines. Your attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will help ensure a seamless user experience across multiple platforms. This position reports to the QA Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design comprehensive test cases.
- Conduct functional and regression testing to identify and address potential issues.
- Track and register defects, collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolution (defect lifecycle).
- Provide daily status updates to team leaders and project stakeholders.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitate smooth product rollouts into production.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in a QA role, with demonstrated proficiency in functional testing, defect tracking, test planning, and reporting.
- Strong familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including both Waterfall and Agile.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous leadership experience is a plus.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.
