Objective

Maintain equipment and electric and electronic systems in optimal conditions to work through continuous improvement in operations and corrective-preventive maintenance, analyzing feasibility for detection, prevention and correction of potential and recurring faults

Main Responsibilities

1. Provide electronic support to maintain operational equipment and reduce risks from unscheduled shutdowns.
2. Colaborate for automation activities, including internal staff and subcontractors.
3. Work on Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Activities
4. Ensure compliance with legal safety and environmental requirements.
5. Improve the production processes of the plant.
6. Personnel management
7. Assistance to operations meetings
8. Trainings to maintenance personnel
9.Teamwork maintaining effective communication with all departments promoting trust and collaboration to achieve the objectives.
10. Improve the best practices to share and implement the lessons learned for reduce MTTR
11. Actively participate in the analysis and solution of critical problems
12. Collaborate with projects and manufacturing in the development and implementation of new programs.
13. Realization of projects automatic systems that allow us to optimize for cost reduction.
14. Participate in savings projects through efficient energy use

Position Requirements
- Education: Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer, etc.
- Experience: 4-5 years in a similar position and automation projects development
- Technical Skills: - Knowledge of Automation systems,
- PLC systems and Programming - RSlogix 5, 500, 5000, Studio 5000, (Siemens desired)
- HMI Systems and Programming - FactoryTalkViewStudio, Proface, Delta, etc
- Drives system and Programming - Power Flex, SEW Eurodrive, Kinetix, Ultra 3000, Lenze, etc
- Robots Systems and Programming - ABB and Fanuc Robots (Roboguide, Robostudio desired)
- Safety systems and Programming Safety PLC - Safety PLC (PILZ, Sick, GuardLogix), Safety Relays, Light Curtains, Safety Scanner, Safety RFID, etc
