**Position Summary**

As a Data Governance Technical Lead, you will bring deep expertise and knowledge to the Nestle LATAM team. Working at the leading edge of IT within data governance, you will help to set the direction and establish Governance by Design through various building blocks including: Data Acquisition, Data Product Ownership, Data Discovery, Data Privacy & Ethics, Data Quality and Data Accessibility. Utilizing your knowledge, you will consult and advise on operational risk in implementing data policies for good corporate data governance. You will be accountable for supervising specific deliverables in relation to IT development around Data Governance topics.

**Job Responsibilities|**
- Provide deep specialist guidance and support in the Data Governance area (e.g. Business glossary, Data Lineage, Data Catalog, Data Quality and Data Governance policies/standards)
- Support and help drive the creation of a conceptual & logical data model
- Identify Data Domains and Data Governance roles
- Help to develop the content for ‘Capability building’ and give a structural approach as to how the organization can build capacity in Data Governance
- Make recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and delivery of services through the use and re-use of data
- Provide the product team with technical expertise, advising on the creation, development, and implementation of Enterprise Data Governance artifacts
- Embed the data culture across the enterprise by way of workshops, training modules and effective communications

**Basic Qualifications**
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Data Governance domain either in technology or process areas.
- 3+ years of hands on in experience within 2 of the following disciplines: Data Acquisition Strategy, Data Product Ownership Vision and Roadmap, Data Discovery and Business Glossary, Data Privacy and Ethics, Data Quality, and Data Accessibility.
- 3+ years of experience working in a cloud environment
- Experience using data analysis for business problem solving
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher within Computer Science or related field
- Experience working with Azure or AWS for Data Governance
- Experience working with Alation or MS Purview
