Kiewit Mexico offers construction management and engineering services in a variety of markets, including energy, oil, gas, chemicals, terminals, marine works, and mining.
**Responsibilities**:
- Working with engineering team to develop preliminary and final design bridge plans and details.
- Detailing of structural elements, including concrete reinforcement and steel connections.
- Using MicroStation, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software to develop bridge and Infrastructure plans.
- Participating in design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make recommendations.
- Producing reinforcement barlists, engineering reports, models, exhibits, etc.
- Assisting Designers and Engineers with QA/QC reviews of drawing packages.
- Setting up project workspaces and drawing templates.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years’ experience in CAD production of bridge and Infrastructure designs and plan sets (project leadership experience a plus but not mandatory)
- General knowledge of engineering principles and structural materials.
- General knowledge of MDOC-CFE, IMCA, IMT, SCT, AASHTO LRFD, AISC, ACI, and other Mexican and North American design codes and standards related with the industry.
- Strong background in bridge design, construction methods and prestressing/post-tensioning.
- Must be highly proficient with MicroStation or AutoCAD; both preferred.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office products, Bluebeam and ProjectWise.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling required, advanced skills preferred.
- Intermediate English B1-B2
