**Descripción y detalle de las actividades**
- Lead and/or participate in supplier audits. - Conduct supplier quality meetings to achieve improved performance. Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements. Support new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards. Diagnose quality problems, develop solutions, and monitor corrective actions. Work with the supplier directly, create correction action plans to address process failures. Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Manage and coordinate supplier Parts Per Million (PPM), supplier problem solving on time, cost recovery and supplier warranty indicators. Facilitate the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues within assigned projects and suppliers. Support the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance. Participate in weekly Material Review Boards. Prepare periodic reports related to supplier quality performance (Scorecards). Undertake special projects as required. Contribute to continuous improvement activities. Support and lead process improvement activities at the supplier. Take a leadership role in developing and implementing advanced quality principles. Implement advanced quality and statistical techniques, such as first article analysis, capability studies, design of experiments, correlation studies, etc. Support technicians and engineers. Train people within own work group.

**Experiência y requisitos**
- BS degree in electronics engineering or other technical discipline. - 3 years in a quality role. Strong statistical knowledge. Problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, but in a team environment. Ability to influence and lead others, a change agent. Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills. Bilingual English/Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skilled in the use of word-processing, spreadsheet, and database computer programs. Enthusiastic, hardworking, results oriented with a can-do attitude, working towards career advancement. Multitasking. An immediate backup for the Quality Supervisor position.Desired Qualifications:Third party auditor certification (IATF-16949)PPAP's following, supplier auditories,Experience with electronic components, 8D reports, Parts & processes approval. Supplier development. MBA or MS degree in related field. Experience in a high-volume manufacturing organization. Strong knowledge of ISO, IATF 16949, Lean Manufacturing and 6Sigma.
