We are seeking a**Structural Designer**to join our dynamic team. As a Structural Designer at SSOE, you will collaborate with fellow Structural Designers, engineering teams, and Project Managers to develop innovative solutions for intricate and challenging designs, incorporating the latest design methodologies while ensuring adherence to specifications and timely project completion.



Our Structural Designers will be responsible for creating conceptual designs, conducting structural analysis, and producing detailed construction drawings for state-of-the-art industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities for the world’s leading high-tech companies. Proficiency in**AutoCAD**and**Revit**software is essential for developing accurate and comprehensive structural drawings.



**Responsibilities and principal Tasks**:
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Develop detailed structural designs and layouts for high-tech and industrial facilities. This includes creating conceptual designs, performing basic structural analysis, and producing detailed construction drawings, while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Generate detailed drawings that include precise dimensions, materials, and specifications, adhering to company/project standards and local building codes.
- Able to develop complete structural drawing package from design start to IFC with minimum supervision.
- Design and model using**AutoCAD**and**Revit**software for modeling to create accurate and detailed structural drawings of new structures and retrofitting of existing structures. Ensure that all design elements are accurately represented.
- Create comprehensive construction packages including specifications, bill of materials, and technical documentation for fabrication and construction teams.
- Collaborate with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, process/chemical, and architectural to solve design problems and challenges. Provide support during construction phases, addressing any design-related queries or modifications as needed.




**Requirements**:

- Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering as Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Designer, Industrial Designer, Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer or related.
- With five to eight (5 - 8) years of related practical experience with former employers
- ** Advanced english level**:

- Experience with REVIT and AutoCAD as Structural Engineering software
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience with designs containing steel, strut, and/or related structures.



**Desirable but no must requirementes**:

- Experience with Plant 3D, Navisworks, or other related software systems is a plus.
- Experience with structural engineering analysis and calculation is a plus not a requirement.
- A very desirable experience with Industrial Projects such as designing racks, steel supports, plugins to manufacturing machines, conveyor lines, steel structures, etc.



**BIM Coordinaton experience as REVIT User**:

- Ensure models are aligned with SSOE’s**Virtual Design and Construction (VDC)**standards and client-specific requirements.
- Coordinate with design teams to resolve conflicts before construction begins, improving constructability and reducing rework.
- Document workflows, modeling guidelines, and quality control procedures.
