About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Data Entry Specialist to join Ellucian’s Enterprise Business Intelligence team. The Enterprise BI team partners with the business to enable data-informed solutions that drive growth, innovation, performance, and culture. In this role, the Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for updating missing and inaccurate data through direct data entry and/or uploads on a cyclical and iterative basis. If you are a motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and consistently demonstrate excellent attention to detail, we would love to talk with you.

**Where you will make an impact**
- Conduct internet research to collect institutional, contact, and other data
- Create spreadsheets for data uploads
- Enter valid data into systems, including Salesforce, using established data entry procedures and guidelines to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Review and correct any errors or inconsistencies in data
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information

**What you will bring**- Experience in data entry, data management or data analysis, preferably in a Salesforce environment
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, including vlookups and writing formulas
- Experience in higher education preferred
- Desirable Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM and related data entry tools
- Excellent attention to detail, investigative skills and accuracy in data entry tasks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, ask questions when appropriate and exercise good judgment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and understand the impact of data across the organization
- Familiarity with data validation and cleaning techniques
- The ability to work independently on multiple projects with little supervision
