Client: Our client is a startup with one of the major poker communities in the world. They connect poker enthusiasts all around the world providing top-of-the-art technology and resources.
Position overview: We are seeking a Strong Middle Golang Developer looking to continue growing his career around this role. We need Golang specialist to develop a sportsbook solution from scratch with a focus on AWS services.
- Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs to support our
- platform using Golang.
- Collaborate with software architects and product teams to define technical requirements
- and deliver innovative solutions
- Design, implement, and manage databases, ensuring optimal performance and
- scalability. We use Postgres based databases
- Implement best practices in coding, testing and deployment to ensure high quality and
- reliable software
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform's architecture and
- technologies.
- Work in a cross-functional agile environment, engaging with both technical and non-technical teams.
- 3+ years of experience in building scalable and distributed systems with Golang
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization and serverless computing
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, dev-ops practices and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Experience with AWS infrastructure (Cloudfront, Shield, Aurora DB, RDS)
- Nice to have: Sports betting platform experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
