Senior Frontend Developer

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Front End Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico. Our client is a new app designed to transform family caregiving by uniting online tools and services in one place, making tasks easier and freeing up time for what matters most. It’s the first-of-a-kind in a new and emerging category of AgeTech: Designated Life Management. The solution connects and optimizes all of life’s apps and services in one place, allowing a designated person to partner with a loved one to keep their life running. Covering medical management, prescriptions, calendaring, financial and legal aspects (and more) dramatically reduces the time and energy required to tend to someone else while increasing peace of mind.- Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with deep expertise in frontend development; extensive knowledge of building modern JavaScript-based web and mobile products.
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, LESS, and SCSS.
- Expertise in Google Cloud (or other cloud providers).
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and how to use them in practice.
- Expertise in writing effective unit, integration, and end-user automation tests.
- Experience in mobile development with either native or web-to-native tooling and frameworks.
- Experience in agile development.
- Strong skills, specifically in collaboration, teamwork, coaching, and mentoring.
- Self-driven, creative, and able to work with little guidance.
- Ability to lead front-end team.
Responsibilities:

- Design and build scalable user interface components.
- Translate wireframes into functional requirements and write well-abstracted, reusable, high-performance code for UI components.
- Write reusable, effective, and scalable code and create interchangeable front-end modules.
- Ensure code follows the latest coding practices and industry standards
- Confirm feature quality through extensive testing (unit, integration, functional, performance, and regression).
- Work closely with backend developers to understand and correctly use the system APIs.
- Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.
Will be a plus:

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Experience with Hasura.
- Familiarity with Node.js
