**Responsibilities**:
**Data Engineer (MBS)**
**Main Purpose**
- The Data Engineer will operate within a team of database developers, data analysts, data engineers, and software engineers to produce simpler, faster, and more insightful solutions for supply chain performance managers, decision makers, specialists and frontline personnel._
**Accountabilities** / Responsibilities**
- _
Develop ETL Pipelines, database tables, views, indexes to transform, prepare, and stage data for user facing tools, dashboards, and reports. _
- _ Work closely with other team members (business analysts, data engineers, Tableau and PowerBI developers) to collaborate, design, plan work, and develop complete business solutions. _
- _Support team with ad-hoc analytics, tool troubleshooting, and support end-users directly to resolve tool issues._
Qualifications:
**Qualifications / Requirements**
- _
Fluent in English_
- _ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business systems or information technology_
- _ 1+ years of data engineering and ETL experience_
- _ Advanced SQL skills_
- _ Moderate Python programming skills_
- _ Experience in using common ETL patterns to process data. Understands best practices and pitfalls of various ETL methods._
- _ Ability to translate business requirements or ideas into data architecture and data process design._
- _ Experience in designing and creating database tables, indexes, and views to utilize in ETL processes._
- _ Familiarity with supply chain or logistics analytics is a plus_
- _ Familiarity with Azure Databricks, PySpark, or Azure Data Factory is a plus_
- _ Experience with Tableau and/or PowerBI is a plus_
