As a Head of Trading Operations, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing trading operations for the Largest Exchange in Latam affiliated trading desk. The role is a unique opportunity for those who love crypto and working in a fast paced environment with the purpose of making crypto useful.

This high-impact role gives you a great opportunity to shape the overall operation strategy for the team. You'll work closely with the trading and product teams to support the operation of the Desk.

**Your impact**:

- Define & execute policies & processes to enable smooth trading operations
- Lead full-cycle trading operational strategy: oversee trade recording, settlement and accounting processes
- Manage Custody & Staking services relationship and reporting in a timely manner
- Relationship and Operations with Banks and TradFi counterparties specifically for FX transactions
- Collaborate closely with the Trading/Product/Engineering team to improve our platform services, alerts and procedures
- Manage settlement of positions and funds across protocols and chains
- Proactively stay up to date about market trends, opportunities, risks and new projects, with a passion for the cryptocurrency and digital asset industry
- Create a framework and use technology to enable faster operations
- Optimize and analyze trade data to ensure smooth functioning of the Desk
- Work with vendors or staff teams to create dashboards based on your algorithms to flag and address trade related issues
- Keep track of positions and flag anything outside of scope

**Who you are**:

- Prior working experience in the cryptocurrency market/ digital assets with a firm understanding of trading products and trade life cycles.
- Prior experience managing teams at an enterprise multi-office scale.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
- Detail oriented, multi-tasking and able to handle various projects simultaneously under pressure.
- Able to work independently as well as a good team player.
- Flexible mindset to adapt to fast-changing markets and new work tasks.
- Problem solving capabilities that force you to think analytically about the role and tasks and to proactively seek out better solutions.
- Able to work async and being able to manage inter-timezone communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- English language proficiency.

**Additionally, it would be nice if you**:

- Have lending and Borrowing Experience
- Enjoy a startup-like environment and fully remote work.
- Have experience with dashboard & monitoring tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI etc.)
- Are able to process data efficiently either with tools (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets etc.) or with scripting (Python, R etc.)
